Brooches

The brooch is fine jewelry's most underrated category, and the one that gives a wearer the most freedom. Nothing on a brooch is fixed by anatomy. It can sit on a lapel, at a shoulder, on a coat collar, at the waist of a dress, on a hat or holding a scarf. That flexibility is why the category has quietly returned to serious collections after decades on the margins.

Our brooch edit is being built with that range in mind: sculptural pins where the metalwork is the design, gem set clips built around a single notable stone, figurative and botanical pieces in the antique tradition, and clean geometric bar brooches that read as almost tailoring. Because brooches are structural, fastening matters. Pin and catch, roll clasps, double clips and pendant convertibles all wear differently, and we surface that detail on each listing where a retailer publishes it.

Metals and stones follow the rest of the site: platinum and 18K, 14K and 9K gold, colored gemstones, natural and lab grown diamonds, and cultured pearl. Everything that appears will be sold by the retailer named on its card, at that retailer's own price.
